General Car Shipping Questions

Costs depend on distance, vehicle size, transport type, and seasonal demand. Short routes (under 500 miles) typically run $400 to $700. Cross-country shipments range from $800 to $1,500. Enclosed transport adds roughly 30% to 50% over open transport pricing. Use our instant quote tool for a price tailored to your specific route.

Most shipments take 3 to 10 business days. Routes under 500 miles often arrive in 1 to 3 days. Longer routes like Colorado to the East Coast can take 7 to 10 days. Expedited shipping is available if you need faster delivery, though it comes at a higher rate.

Yes. All carriers in our network carry cargo insurance as required by the FMCSA. Coverage typically ranges from $100,000 to $250,000 per load. You'll receive the carrier's insurance details before your vehicle is loaded. Bronco Car Hauling also carries supplemental coverage for added protection.

Absolutely. We send status updates at key points: when the driver is dispatched, when your vehicle is picked up, during transit, and before delivery. You can also call us anytime during business hours for a live update from our dispatch team.

You can get started in three ways: use our instant quote tool, call us at 719-249-6543, or email us at info@broncocarhauling.com. We'll confirm your details, provide a firm quote, and schedule your pickup once you're ready.

We'll need the vehicle's year, make, and model, plus the pickup and delivery zip codes. Knowing whether the vehicle runs, your preferred transport type (open or enclosed), and your ideal timeline helps us give you the most accurate price.

Vehicle Type Questions

Yes. We ship pickup trucks, full-size SUVs, vans, and other oversized vehicles regularly. Larger vehicles cost a bit more because they take up extra space on the carrier. Expect to pay roughly 15% to 25% more than a standard sedan for an oversized vehicle.

We do. Motorcycles are secured on specialized pallets or motorcycle-specific carriers to prevent any movement during transit. We ship sport bikes, cruisers, Harleys, touring bikes, and custom builds. Motorcycle shipping rates typically range from $300 to $700 depending on distance.

We can handle lifted trucks, vehicles with aftermarket bumpers, and other modified rigs. Just let us know the exact dimensions when you get your quote. Vehicles taller than 7 feet or wider than standard may require specialized carriers, and we'll price that accordingly.

Shipping Process Questions

The driver arrives during your scheduled pickup window, inspects the vehicle, and documents its condition on a Bill of Lading. You'll both sign the document. Then the driver loads your vehicle onto the carrier using professional tie-downs and wheel straps. The whole process typically takes 15 to 30 minutes.

Open transport uses standard multi-car carriers (the same kind you see on the highway). It's the most popular option and costs less. Enclosed transport uses a covered trailer that fully protects your vehicle from weather, road debris, and UV exposure. We recommend enclosed for luxury, classic, or high-value vehicles worth over $75,000.

In most cases, yes. The carrier will pick up and deliver as close to your front door as possible. However, if your street is too narrow, has low-hanging trees, or is in a restricted area, the driver may need to meet you at a nearby open location like a parking lot. We'll let you know ahead of time if this applies to your address.

Remove personal items, toll passes, and loose accessories. Keep the gas tank about one-quarter full. Take photos of the vehicle's condition from all angles. Make sure the car starts and the battery is charged. Disable any aftermarket alarms. Leave one key with the driver.

Yes. We ship non-running, non-starting, and inoperable vehicles. The carrier will need a winch or forklift to load it, which adds $100 to $200 to the price. Just make sure to let us know the vehicle's condition when you book so we can assign the right equipment.

Payment and Insurance Questions

We accept credit cards, debit cards, certified checks, and bank transfers. A deposit is required at booking to secure your spot, and the remaining balance is typically due at delivery. We'll go over all payment details before you commit to anything.

Carrier cargo insurance covers physical damage to your vehicle that occurs during loading, transport, or unloading. It does not cover personal items inside the vehicle, pre-existing mechanical issues, or damage caused by acts of nature. If something happens, the carrier's insurance company handles the claim directly.

Damage during transport is rare, but if it happens, here's the process: note the damage on the Bill of Lading at delivery before signing, take photos immediately, and contact us. We'll help you file a claim with the carrier's insurance provider and follow up until it's resolved. Bronco Car Hauling stays involved throughout the entire claims process.
