Expedited auto transport is a priority vehicle shipping service for customers who need their car delivered faster than standard timelines allow. At Bronco Car Hauling, expedited means your vehicle gets bumped to the front of the dispatch queue, assigned to a dedicated or priority carrier, and shipped with fewer stops along the route. If standard shipping takes 5 to 7 days, expedited can often cut that to 2 to 4 days on the same route.

There are plenty of reasons you might need rush shipping. You accepted a new job and need your car at the new location by Monday. You bought a vehicle at auction and need it delivered before an event. A family emergency requires your car across the country as fast as possible. Or maybe your original transport company dropped the ball and you need someone who can move quickly.

We've been doing this for 15 years and have moved 12,000+ vehicles. Our network of carriers includes dedicated single-load and two-vehicle haulers who can deploy within 24 to 48 hours. Expedited costs more than standard shipping because you're paying for priority placement and reduced sharing, but when you need speed, it's worth every dollar.

How Expedited Car Shipping Differs from Standard Transport

Expedited auto transport moves your vehicle faster by reducing two key delays: the wait for carrier assignment and the number of stops during transit. With standard shipping, your vehicle enters our dispatch queue and gets assigned to the next available carrier running your route, which might be 3 to 7 days from the date you book. Expedited moves you to the front of that queue.

Once assigned, standard carriers typically carry 8 to 10 vehicles and make multiple stops to deliver each one. An expedited carrier carries 1 to 4 vehicles and follows a more direct route with fewer detours. That means less total drive time and a tighter delivery window.

The combination of faster dispatch and fewer stops is what makes expedited work. A standard shipment from Colorado to Florida might take 6 to 8 days total (3 to 4 days for dispatch plus 4 to 5 days transit). Expedited on the same route could be 4 to 5 days total (1 to 2 days dispatch plus 3 to 4 days transit). For shorter routes, the time savings are even more noticeable.

Expedited Shipping Costs and When It Makes Sense

Expedited auto transport typically adds 20% to 40% on top of standard shipping rates, with the exact premium depending on how quickly you need the vehicle and how far it's going. For example, if standard open transport from Colorado to California costs $900, expedited on the same route might run $1,100 to $1,250. Colorado to the East Coast expedited could be $1,400 to $1,800 versus $1,100 to $1,300 standard.

The premium pays for priority treatment. Your vehicle gets dispatched ahead of others, the carrier commits to a tighter schedule, and you get delivery days sooner than you otherwise would. For urgent situations, that's a tradeoff that makes sense.

Expedited shipping makes financial sense when: a delayed delivery costs you money (like a rental car you're paying for), when you need the vehicle for a specific event or date, when your previous shipper fell through and you're behind schedule, or when peace of mind about a guaranteed timeline is worth the extra cost.
